And now, the highlights!
The Merlin will be sold separately and will not have LTI. Owners of ships with snub fighters or utility ships (such as the Carrack and the 890 Jump) will be given a loaner Merlin, or in the case of the Constellation Andromeda and Aquila – permanent Merlins. Both the Merlin and Scythe are slated for the 1.1.5 update.
A new CCU system is very close. Take ship on the left and there’s a pull down on the right that factors out the money, click go, and you’re done. Lots of testing involved in making sure it works properly. Every ship can CCU to every ship as long as it’s a step up, and the ship is flyable. You will not be able to CCU backwards.
The 300 Series redesign will probably not change the exterior much. However, interior, ship stats, damage states, UV layers, decay states, and a materials pass will be done.
All weapons on the Merlin are fixed. Two size 1 guns, one on each wing. The gatling gun in the center is a custom size 2 and probably won’t be changeable. Same for Archimedes.
CIG’s VP of Marketing Sandi Gardiner has been implicated in the murder of a robot by her co-worker, Ben Lesnick. Instead of denying the accusation Sandi proceeded to display her trophy. If you look closely you can see the murderous rage in her eyes. The robot’s family declined comment, and the UEE have yet to press charges.
