Erris and Shiver summarise the weeks developments in Star Citizen
Calling All Devs
Special thanks to Heremus for assisting with CAD summary.
There are no current plans of calling or maneuvering your ship via mobiglas as of right now and hasn’t even been discussed internally as of yet.
CIG is aiming for alpha 3.3 to implement in-game ship and weapon rental for Arena Commander, the team will then be able to use the tech developed from that to implement it into the PU in Hurston. The shop in Hurston will use aUEC as opposed to Arena Commander which will continue to use REC. 3.3 is the current target to get this in-game but as always is the case if it isn’t ready to go live then it will be held back until it is in a fit enough state for player use.
As of yet there are no plans to prioritise the Genesis Starliner development because it has no relevance to Squadron 42 nor the PU in its actual state. Due to this reason it is on the back end of the schedule and a planned release date for it cannot be yet given.
Currently CIG want insurance time to be measured in real world time, while in game. I.E. 3 year insurance equates to around 26,000 hours of playtime.
